Title: West Virginia Molasses Cookies

Yield: 4 Dozen

1/2	c	Melted Butter
1	c	Heated dark molasses
1/3	c	Dark brown sugar
3/4	ts	Ground cinnamon
3/4	ts	Ground cloves
1/2	ts	Ground ginger
1/4	ts	Ground nutmeg
1/4	ts	Ground allspice
3/4	ts	Baking soda
3 3/4	c	Sifted cake flour
	pn	Salt

Blend together butter and molasses.

Combine dry ingredients and add to molasses mixture.

Roll in wax paper and store in refrigerator for one week before baking.

Roll very thin on well floured board; cut with cookie cutters.

Bake on greased cookie sheets in preheated 375 degrees for 6 to 10 minutes.
